Who is responsible
The Association for Credit Management Switzerland (ACMS), Verein für Credit Management Schweiz, Hardstrasse 1, 4133 Pratteln, Switzerland, is responsible for the personal data processed through this website. You can reach us at Info@creditmanager.clubdesk.com.
What we collect
- Membership requests. If you send the membership form, we collect your first and last name, your email address, and the membership type you selected. Company name, regional chapter and your message are optional. We ask for nothing else.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, we collect the email address you enter. Nothing else is required.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records technical data for every visit: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and operating system. This happens automatically and is needed to run and secure the site.
This website does not process payment details. Membership fees are handled separately, outside this website.
Why we process it
- To answer your membership request and, if you join, to set up your membership.
- To send you the newsletter you asked for, and only that.
- To keep the website available, stable and protected against abuse.
We do not sell personal data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to build profiles.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies. It loads no analytics, no advertising scripts, no social media widgets and no external fonts. Every file it needs is served from our own domain, so browsing these pages does not expose you to any third party beyond our hosting provider.
Where your data is stored
This website runs on servers operated by Infomaniak Network SA in Geneva, Switzerland. Your data therefore stays in Switzerland and is not transferred abroad by us.
Membership records are administered in ClubDesk, the association management platform used by ACMS. Once your request is accepted, the data you provided is transferred there.
These providers act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
- Membership requests that do not lead to a membership: deleted within twelve months.
- Membership records: kept for the duration of your membership, and afterwards only as long as required by Swiss law.
- Newsletter address: until you unsubscribe. Every newsletter carries an unsubscribe link.
- Server logs: kept for six months, then deleted.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, you may at any time:
- ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted, or object to us processing it;
- withdraw your consent, with no explanation needed.
Write to Info@creditmanager.clubdesk.com and we will answer within a reasonable time. If you believe we handle your data unlawfully, you may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Bern.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website changes. The date at the top always tells you which version you are reading.
